TEST: Wooden Spoons
The Wooden Spoon Test at Cooper’s Hawk evaluates replacing metal teaspoons with disposable mini wooden spoons to enhance the guest experience while reducing silverware-related costs. The test focuses on guest perception, usability, and operational impact, including cleanliness, restocking, and overall cost savings. The objective is to determine if this alternative delivers a more elevated yet efficient experience that justifies broader implementation.
1.19.26- Bryan: Test will continue for 6 additional months through July 2026 to get true DOE savings of Tea Spoons.Restaurants have not yet had to order Tea Spoons but the current estimates of savings from when test started are showing a DOE increase.
